My interest in teaching was awakened at that time as<strong> head of academic working groups<\/strong> and lecturer in exam preparation, <strong>organiser of legal block seminars<\/strong> and reviewer of mock examinations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">Almost since the beginning of my legal career, teaching has an integral part of my professional life. Here, too, <strong>German civil procedural law<\/strong> is the<strong> main focus of my teaching activities<\/strong>. This is &#8211; one would hardly believe it &#8211; a field of law which has a shadowy existence in legal education in Germany.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">This is what I am to my students: <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">An <strong>experienced and committed lecturer<\/strong> who is <strong>always available for his students<\/strong> and who attaches great importance to <strong>feedback on his courses on evaluations<\/strong> and their results for the future. <strong>I like to challenge<\/strong> my students <strong>above-average<\/strong>, but I also <strong>reward their achievements<\/strong> in my courses in <strong>the same way<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span lang=\"en-GB\">Adjunct lecturer and similar commitment<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\"><strong>Since the summer semester of 2009<\/strong> I have held a position as an<strong> adjunct lecturer at the Leuphana University<\/strong> of L\u00fcneburg. The subject of the lectureship is a <strong>block seminar Moot<\/strong>. Over the course of one semester, participants are offered the opportunity to take on <strong>the role of a lawyer in a civil case<\/strong> in teams of two. The legal dispute is prepared by preparing <strong>written pleadings<\/strong> in a preliminary written procedure. The results of the written pleadings are discussed in a <strong>final main hearing<\/strong>. There the participants represent the interests of their client in a legal dispute.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">The students are to be taught the mechanisms of litigation in court. In their <strong>future professional life<\/strong>, they may be entrusted with the <strong>selection of legal advisors<\/strong> for their company and the supervision of the same.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-6\">\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1691\" src=\"https:\/\/finkbeiner-kanzlei.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/streitbeilegung-landscape.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/finkbeiner-kanzlei.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/streitbeilegung-landscape.jpg 800w, https:\/\/finkbeiner-kanzlei.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/streitbeilegung-landscape-600x375.jpg 600w, https:\/\/finkbeiner-kanzlei.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/streitbeilegung-landscape-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/finkbeiner-kanzlei.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/streitbeilegung-landscape-768x480.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">\u00a0For this purpose, <strong>a deeper understanding of the way these consultants work<\/strong> is extremely important.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.leuphana.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">www.leuphana.de<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">During my time in Frankfurt am Main, I also served as a <strong>juror at the JLU Moot Court<\/strong> in Giessen as a <strong>representative of the Frankfurt am Main Bar Association<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-giessen.de\/fbz\/fb01\/professuren-forschung\/professuren\/gutzeit\/mootcourt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span lang=\"en-GB\">https:\/\/www.uni-giessen.de\/fbz\/fb01\/professuren-forschung\/professuren\/gutzeit\/mootcourt<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">After all, I worked for the Frankfurt am Main Bar Association for many years in <strong>educating legal trainee<\/strong> in the introductory course for the bar exam.
